神來一筆，突破生硬量體的疆界。
恣意的弧線軌跡，將兩個世界連結再一起。
亦帶來潺潺不絕的動力。
恍若引來一注活泉，盈貯空間的生命力。

位於新竹的高端寵物食品公司「毛寧Maoning」，原基地為住商大樓一樓兩個單位的空間。JSC Studio為解決空間隔閡的問題，亦不循一般拆除隔間牆的做法，創新以一大面自由曲面的木座貫穿，與牆面緊密卡接，打造出流暢的通道，展現了雙空間「連結」的巧思；這樣的手法，同時讓原本寬幅空間另闢蹊徑，營造動線錯覺及層次感，修飾縱身短促的狀況。

空間動線部分，透過弧線分割，巧妙地分劃出內外，亦區別出展示間、辦公室及倉儲三大空間。弧面向外，主要為迎賓的展示間及接待中心；往右移動，推開輕巧的玻璃門，即可來到辦公區域，周圍以霧面半透的玻璃帷幕隔間，營造隱私感；弧面的背向，則為偌大的倉儲空間。有了大面木座及玻璃區隔，可讓外部賓客僅流連於展示區域；而內部員工可經由前方木座暗門及辦公室後方通道，自在流動至倉庫作業。

整體美學，以自由曲面為主軸，創造現代主義「空間的連續性」，希冀帶給人無拘束的移動體驗。另外，特將粗獷重量及精緻輕盈相容，製造衝突的視覺：深灰的板模結構，與淺色捲邊、富有細節的木座形，以及薄透玻璃門形成對比；而橫跨空間、四米半長的大拱門通道，全高度4.7公尺，下方通道僅留2.1公尺，讓人穿越其中，深感經過大型橋墩的量體震撼。更有甚者，厚重的板模樑柱建築結構，搭配周邊點綴式的植栽灑落、藍色鏡面跳色，動靜交融；加上大部分物件不滿做至天花，使門面、家具、木座高低錯落，猶如室內建築群，形塑出自成一體的世界觀。

值得一提的，此基地右側是角間，擁有兩側採光的優勢，窗面部分採用霧面半透材質，演繹為若明若掩的光線曖昧感，白天戶外光投射至內，光影動態遊戲感十足。晚間則利用室內白光照明及霓虹招牌向外照射，與夜色輝映出優雅時尚氣息。

An unexpected draw break through the boundary
Two worlds are connected by willful curves
Through the flowing power
A spring pours life in the space.

Maoning locates at two separated units on the first floor of a mix-used building in Hsinchu. In order to solve the spatial parting issue without demolishing the parting walls, JSC Studio innovatively ran through a giant and curving wooden structure to connect the walls. The passway was built with linkage of two spaces. This way, an alternate pass was created in the vast space. The misconceptions of flows and the layers modified shortages of the original space.

As the arc separates different zones, it also divides the space into three main rooms, showing room, office, and storage. By facing the chamber outside, a welcoming showing room and reception center were created. To the right, behind glass door is the office area. Translucent glass compartments are for the privacy. At the back of this chamber is a spatial storage zone, the giant wooden structure and glass translucent stop customers in the showing room while employees can use trap door and passway behind the office to access the storage room feely.

Space continuity is created with the arc in order to bringing out unrestricted moving experience. The heavy and light combination carries out visual contrast. Deep grey template structure, detailed wooden structure with light colored edges, and translucent glass door also made contrasts of view. The 4.5 meter long arch across the room stunned the passengers with the height of 4.7 meter and the 2.1 meter passway underneath. Furthermore, the heavy template pillar structure surrounded by decorative plantations and blue mirrors integrate the cheering and calming flows. Most materials are designed particularly not to reach the ceiling so that the irregularity among façade, furniture, and wooden structure form an indoor architecture complex with a unique style of world view.

Notably, the corner room in the right has natural light from two sides. The half transparent, half-translucent windows partly dimed the light and create playful shadows in the daytime. At night, indoor lighting and outdoor neon sign glow in the dark elegantly.
